1) On the PS3 Menu go to Settings > Network Settings > Internet Connection Settings
2) Choose Wireless, then for the next option choose Enter Manually.
3) You will get a window saying SSID. Rename it to whatever you want. For example, I named mine PS3
4) For WLAN Security Settings choose WPA-PSK (AES)
5) Another window will ask you for a WPA key. This is an 8-letter password. Make it up and don't forget it. For an example I will use the password doggcatt. Choose easy, then save when you're done.
6) Using your PSP now, we're going to do the same thing we just did on the PS3 to the PSP. Go to Settings > Network settings > Infrastructure Mode.
7) Go to [New Connection] and hit X. Go to WLAN Settings and hit Enter Maually. It's going to ask you for an SSID. Remember the one you just made for the PS3? Use the same SSID name here. My Example SSID was PS3.
On the next page it will ask you for WLAN Security Settings. Do the same as you did with your PS3 again, so go to WPA-PSK (AES)
9) It's going to ask you for the WPA Key. We made that earlier on the PS3, remember? My example was doggcatt so I'm going to put that in for my WPA key. Next, choose Easy. It will then ask you for a connection name, choose whatever you want. I did PS3 again, but it doesn't matter.
10) Almost done. On your PS3 go to Network > Remote Play. The PS3 should say "Connect the PSP(tm) System using a remote play connection."
11) On your PSP, go to Network > Remote play. Pick the new connection setting you just made (mine was called PS3)
12) That's it! Your PS3 should say "Remote play in Progress" and your PSP should be at the PS3's window. I Hope this helped some people!
